Your Duties

The Approved Code of Practice for Rider Operated Lift Trucks published by the HSE states: -

To comply with their duties under the provision and use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and general duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, employers must ensure that all operators they employ, both new and existing, are adequately trained and when necessary provide for their additional or refresher training.  The most cost effective way to conform to this advice is to train your employees through one of our recognised accrediting bodies approved by the HSE in consultation with the joint industry council.  All our trainers are certified by either the Association of Industrial Truck Trainers (AITT) incorporating the independent Training Standards Scheme and Register (ITSSAR) or the RTITB (formerly) Road Transport Industry Training Board.

Choose from our extensive range of courses at our training course centres in Kent, London, East Anglia and the Midlands or alternatively at you own premises to minimise disruption to you working day.  One day refresher assessments up to five days complete courses for beginners are available for up to three drivers dependent on experience.

On successful completion of the course each candidate will receive Training Records and an A4 Certificate of Training.  Additional encapsulated ID cards can also be supplied should your company require them.

Please contact us if you would like to discuss training for yourself, or indeed if you are a company looking to have your drivers trained. Contact us at any of our 9 branches, or complete the contact form here
