Its key features are its hydrostatic transmission and the robustness of its components, including a rigid mast, front and rear axles that can cope with the roughest terrain and powerful, reliable engine. The sturdy Sid/P finds ready application in any sector thanks to the excellent driveability ensured by the flexibility of the hydrostatic transmission. The rear axle is the oscillating type and affords a wide steering angle. These characteristics enable the truck to operate overthe roughest terrain with excellent manoeuvrability. The engine, a turbocharged diesel with water cooling system, ensures high performance combined with low running costs.
